Operations System

Sales, orders and the team running on one system, not on you

Proven CRM and ERP software set up around how your business really runs. We implement, we do not build.

  • from ₹50k +18% GST
  • 4–8 weeks for a CRM
The problem

Sound familiar?

Customer details live in phones and spreadsheets, quotes are chased by hand, and nobody knows what stock or orders are really pending.

  • Har cheez ke liye team mujhse poochti hai.
  • When a salesperson leaves, their customers and follow-ups leave with their phone.
  • Quotes go out late, in different formats, and nobody checks which ones were won.
  • You bought software once. It sits unused because it was never set up for how you work.
The work

What is included

Choosing the software

The right CRM or ERP for your size, process and budget, with reasons in writing.

Pipeline and order flow

Sales stages, quotes, orders, approvals and follow-up reminders configured to your process.

Data migration

Existing customers, products, price lists and open orders cleaned and moved in.

Training and SOPs

Role-wise training and short SOP guides the team will actually use.

How it works

Week by week

  1. Week 1

    Process mapping

We map how an enquiry becomes an order, invoice and payment in your business, and agree what the system must do on day one and what can wait.

  2. Week 2

    Software choice and design

We recommend a platform and edition, list the licences you need, and design the pipeline, fields, roles and approvals.

  3. Week 3–5

    Setup and data

We configure the system, connect it to WhatsApp, your website forms and your accounting software where needed, and move your data in.

  4. Week 5–6

    Training and pilot

Each role is trained on their own screens. One team runs on the system first while we fix what gets in their way.

  5. Week 6–8

    Go-live and handover

Everyone moves over, old sheets are retired, and the owner dashboard goes live. We stay on call through the first month.

Timelines depend on how quickly we get information and approvals from your side.

Once it is installed

What a working day looks like once it is installed

The point is not the software. It is that work moves without anyone asking you where it is.

  1. Enquiry

Every enquiry, from the website, WhatsApp, a marketplace or a phone call, is logged in one place with its source and an owner.

  2. Quote

The salesperson builds the quote from the price list in the system. Discounts above a limit go to you for one-tap approval.

  3. Follow-up

Reminders fire on the dates set. Overdue follow-ups show up on the manager's screen, not in your head.

  4. Order and delivery

A won quote becomes an order. Stock, dispatch and delivery status are visible to sales without phoning the godown.

  5. Owner view

One screen shows pipeline value, orders pending, overdue follow-ups and what each person has open.

Fit

Is this right for your business?

Built for owner-run businesses with roughly ₹1–50 Cr turnover and 5–100 staff. If it is not the right fit, we will tell you on the first call.

A good fit

  • Trading and distribution firms handling many quotes and repeat orders
  • Manufacturers who need orders, stock and dispatch in one view
  • Service businesses with a sales team and project or job tracking
  • Teams of roughly 5–100 people where the owner still tracks everything

Not a fit

  • Businesses that want fully custom software written from scratch
  • One-person businesses where a simple sheet still works
  • Owners who will not ask the team to stop using the old sheets

The Operations System is the Operate layer of The Self-Running Business System. Its promise: sales, orders and the team running on one system, not on you. Proven CRM and ERP software set up around how your business really runs. We implement, we do not build. It suits trading, manufacturing, services and retail businesses with a team that needs one shared system. Price: from ₹50k, +18% GST. A CRM typically takes 4–8 weeks. An ERP is a larger project and is scoped after the diagnostic.

No. We implement proven, widely used platforms and configure them to your process. That is faster, cheaper and easier to support.

It depends on your processes, team and budget. We recommend one in the diagnostic, with reasons.

The number of users and departments, how much data needs cleaning and moving, how many other systems it connects to, and whether you need a CRM only or a full ERP. Software licences are extra and paid to the vendor.

Yes. Customer lists, products, price lists and open orders are cleaned and imported. Very old or messy history is usually archived rather than moved, so the new system starts clean.

You do. Licences are bought in your business name and you are the account owner. We work as an admin user that you can remove at any time.

That is the most common reason these projects fail, so we plan for it: role-wise training, a pilot team first, SOPs, and the owner dashboard reading only from the system, so the old sheets stop mattering.
