01 What it is

A conversation, not a consultation

Once a week, I keep one hour free for a conversation with someone building something. Bas ek coffee aur ek honest baat.

Mayank Jain

Today's menu

  • Ideason the house
  • Perspectiveson the house
  • Connectionson the house
  • Honest questionsextra shot

Price: ₹0

Served once a week · 60 minutes

You bring

  • An idea you are testing
  • A decision you keep postponing
  • A question about growing a team
  • Or just the wish to meet someone who has been there

I bring

  • 10+ years with owner-run businesses
  • An outside view
  • Honest questions

You leave with

  • A clear next step, or a better question
  • Often, an introduction to someone worth knowing
  • Nothing to buy

02 Who it's for

Pick your coffee

For business owners, young entrepreneurs, first-generation founders and professionals planning a venture. Where are you right now?

Espresso · Idea stage

Short, strong, to the point. We pressure-test the idea: who pays, why now, and the smallest way to try it before you quit anything.

Noted: your application now says “Idea stage”.

Cappuccino · Early stage

Some froth, some substance. We look at your first customers, what to say no to, and the one thing to fix before you grow.

Noted: your application now says “Early stage”.

Latte · Growing

Smooth, with a kick. We talk about team, delegation and the systems that let the business grow without you in every decision.

Noted: your application now says “Growing”.

Cutting chai · Established

The Jaipur classic, shared. We step back: what next, which bets, and how to keep a business fresh after years of running it.

Noted: your application now says “Established”.

03 How it works

Three simple steps

There is one seat a week, so every application is read, and every applicant hears back.

  1. Apply

Tell me a little about you and what you would like to explore. Five minutes.

  2. Get your invite

I read every application myself. If it's a fit, you get a private link to pick your week. You hear back within 3 days.

  3. Meet over coffee

In person at a café in Jaipur if you are in Jaipur, or on a video call if you are not. 60 minutes.

Jaipur or online?

In Jaipur: we meet at a café in Jaipur. Chai or coffee, your call.

Outside Jaipur: a video call at the same weekly time. Bring your own cup.

04 What to expect

Honest, relaxed, and free

What to expect

  • An open conversation about your idea, business or plans
  • An outside view and honest questions
  • Introductions, where they would genuinely help
  • 60 unhurried minutes, at a fixed weekly time

What it isn't (tap a sticker)

One honest line: if a real business need comes up and you ask, I may point you to the Growth Diagnostic. Only if you ask.

    ? Questions

    Before you apply

Mayank Jainusually replies in a sip

Yes. There is no fee, no pitch and nothing to buy, now or later. It is a conversation, not a sales call.
Apply with a line or two about what you would like to explore. Mayank reads every application himself, and if it is a fit, you get a private link to pick your week. If this week’s seat is taken, you stay in the queue and hear the moment one opens. Meanwhile, you get an invite to the founders' community and the monthly meetups.
One Coffee Talk per person a year, so more people get a seat. The community and its meetups are open to you any time.
Then we meet online on a video call, at the same weekly time. Jaipur applicants meet in person at a café in Jaipur.
No. It is an open conversation: ideas, perspectives and connections. If a real business need comes up and you ask, Mayank may point you to the Growth Diagnostic. Only if you ask.

    Let's have that coffee

One seat a week. Tell me what you would like to explore.
