How this works
  1. Your number and greeting are turned into a standard wa.me link. Anyone who opens it lands in a WhatsApp chat with you, with the greeting already typed.
  2. The QR code is drawn on this page, in your browser, by our own code. Nothing is sent to any outside service, and your number is not saved.
  3. Medium error correction and a white border (quiet zone) are built in, so the code scans from a printed standee, a card or a screen.
  4. Print the A5 standee or the visiting-card size, or download the code as a PNG or SVG for your designer.

No. The link and QR code are made in your browser. Your number is only saved if you choose to send the result to yourself using the form.

Yes. wa.me links work for both the WhatsApp and the WhatsApp Business app. Use the number exactly as it is registered, with the right country code.

No. The greeting is inside the link, so a new greeting means a new QR code. Pick a greeting that will still make sense in six months.

For a counter standee, about 6 to 8 cm wide works well at arm's length. On a visiting card keep it at least 2 cm wide and keep the white border around it.
